For the people who shaped the Association, streetball was never just a game. It was a place where differences mattered less, friendships were formed, confidence grew, lessons were learned, setbacks became motivation and people looked out for one another.

Those experiences shaped the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to discover their potential in a safe, inclusive and supportive environment. Next Play Collective carries those values forward by creating opportunities for young people, families and communities through sport, recreation, creativity, technology, education and mentoring.

The Association seeks to remove barriers caused by financial hardship, disability, neurodivergence, bullying, social anxiety, isolation, disadvantage or limited access to opportunities. Our programs are designed to ensure everyone feels welcome, regardless of age, ability, background or experience. No experience is required. Everyone starts somewhere.

Through activities such as sports, music production, DJing, podcasting, creative technology, racing simulators, trading cards and fashion, participants are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, develop new skills, build meaningful connections and discover strengths they may never have realised they had.

Whether someone comes to learn, create, compete, connect or simply find a place where they feel accepted, Next Play Collective is a community where everyone belongs.
